The location of La Jonquera is key. From here you can pedal wherever you want! We are close to France, with easy access to the rest of L'Empordà and the Costa Brava, with routes such as the climb to Requesens Castle or Puig Neulós (the highest in Albera). Whether you are a fan of mountain biking or gravel, you can pedal looking for challenges or calmly, with your slow bike on our roads, secondary tracks and paths. Cycling in L'Empordà and cycling in the Albera start in La Jonquera! We are a cycling territory, since we are a key destination and a reference for such prestigious routes as the Pirinexus and the Eurovelo 8. We are a town of legendary cyclists, and we even have an official Open Girona mountain bike test. Pedal in search of UNEXPECTED experiences on two wheels!

"En Bici" is a local business revitalization campaign, organized by the Jonquera Town Council and with the financial support of the Girona County Council. It is part of the tourist brand "La Jonquera Inesperada".

It is aimed at companies in La Jonquera of the following typology: Accommodations, Restaurants, Shops and Workshops, and Transport Professionals. The form of participation is adherence to the seal, which commits companies to take into account the basic needs of cycle tourists. In return, the town council of La Jonquera will offer publicity for the affiliated companies.
